Katherine English Flora X Field of Roses - November 7th & 8th
A floral collaboration with Katherine English Flora
November Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th
Since discovering Katherines breath taking work on Instagram, it’s been a dream of mine to one day collaborate with her. Katherines organic naturalistic style creates such a beautiful seasonal narrative, her talent for bringing her arrangements to life with her careful placement of each stem, colour story and love of form, creates a true feast for the eyes. To have her join us at the peak of our flower season when the field is truly at its most abundant feels like an absolute treat. We’re so excited to share this special workshop with you all, and hope you can join us for what will be a truly inspiring and magical two days here at the farm during the peak of our rose flush.
On your arrival you’ll gather with other like-minded flower lovers, as we start the day off with a tour of our flower field. Feel free to pick our brains and take inspiration for your own garden or field from the array of flowers in bloom. As we wander back to our newly built Chapel Barn, our workspace for the next two days, a beautiful display of flowers awaits for you to create with, plus the overflowing flower field just a step away for you to gather from. Katherine will start us off with a vase arrangement demonstration, guiding you through her steps and techniques that’s she’s crafted over the years to create her sumptuous arrangements. It’ll then be your turn to create your own inspired vase arrangement, with both Katherine and I at hand to help you. We’ll then break for a delicious lunch. Ending the day photographing and styling your glorious spring arrangements.
Day two I will lead with a bouquet demonstration, sharing with you my techniques in creating a romantic garden inspired bridal bouquet, creating depth and movement through the careful selection and placement of blooms. Then we’ll be at hand to guide you through your own bouquet creations.
To finish we’ll gather for a long lunch where your centrepiece creations from the previous day will grace the table, we’ll share delicious food and enjoy the company of new friends as we unwind from a glorious two days spent together. Along the way we will capture images of all your creations to remember your day by or add to your portfolio.
Tickets can be purchased through Katherine’s website where full details for the workshop can be found.
